Hi, I’m Grace—Principal Designer and Owner of Whyte Birch Interiors, a full-service design studio based in Glen Ridge, New Jersey. With over 20 years in residential and commercial design, I love creating timeless spaces that feel both elevated and easy to live in, always tailored to each client’s lifestyle and vision.

I’m also an Interior Design Professor at Kean University—where I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design—which makes it especially meaningful to now teach and inspire the next generation of designers.

My career started in 2001 with a Fine Arts degree in Interior Design and Interior Architecture.  Since then, I’ve worked in furniture and tile showrooms and spent nearly two decades with architectural firms before launching Whyte Birch Interiors in 2020.

My personal style leans breezy coastal California, but every project is different because every client and home has its own story—and I love bringing those stories to life through design.

When I’m not designing, I’m happily rooted in New Jersey with my husband and our two boys. Life outside of work is often just as creative—you’ll usually find me in the kitchen experimenting with new recipes, hosting friends and family, or heading to the beach for a little sunshine and relaxation.
