I’m Grace, Principal Designer and Owner of Whyte Birch Interiors, a full-service design studio based in Glen Ridge, New Jersey. With over 20 years of experience in residential and commercial design, I create timeless spaces that balance luxury with livability, tailoring every detail to each client’s lifestyle and vision. My process is simple: listen, inspire, guide, and collaborate—because the best designs come from understanding and partnership.

My journey began in 2001 with a Fine Arts degree in Interior Design and Interior Architecture, back when floor plans were still drawn by hand. Since then, I’ve worked in furniture and tile showrooms, collaborated with decorators, and spent nearly two decades with architectural firms, honing both technical expertise and a deep appreciation for detail. In 2020, I launched Whyte Birch Interiors to bring all of that experience together under my own creative vision.

While my personal style leans breezy coastal California, every project is unique—because every client and home has its own story. My role is to interpret that story and create spaces that feel personal, polished, and built to last.

When I’m not designing, I’m happily rooted in New Jersey with my husband and our two boys. Life outside of work is often just as creative—you’ll usually find me in the kitchen experimenting with new recipes, hosting friends and family for gatherings, or heading to the beach for a little sunshine and relaxation.
